Constantine is presently the Chief of Laparoscopic and Minimally
Invasive Surgery at the Benedictine and The Kingston Hospitals, in
Kingston, New York.
He is part of Hudson Valley
Surgical Specialists, with the office in Kingston, New York. Dr. Darren
Rohan, with whom Dr. Constantine partners with, is the Chief of Thoracic
Surgery for the Health Alliance of the Hudson Valley. His interests
include thoracic, including minimally invasive thoracic surgery, general
and laparoscopic surgery.
Before this, Dr. Constantine filled an equivalent position for five years at Saint Michael’s Medical Center in Newark, NJ. The
procedures he performed encompass the whole spectrum of minimally
invasive surgery, including, but not limited to, laparoscopic
cholecystectomy, appendectomy, single-incision laparoscopic surgery
(SILS), splenectomy, adrenalectomy, colectomies, inguinal herniorrhaphy,
hiatal hernia repair, anti-reflux procedures, radio-frequency ablation,
laparoscopic gastric banding, Enterra therapy (gastric stimulator for
gastroparesis), parathyroidectomies, as well as "open" procedures and
oncologic surgery. Both Drs. Rohan and Constantine are trained in the Transoral
Incisionless Fundoplication (TIF) to treat Gastroesophageal Reflux Disease
